I feel a pang of ALL THE WOMEN in my lineages who experienced generations of suppression as women and how being with a man was the ONLY way to be safe and survive.

They had NO CHOICE, NO OPPORTUNITY to be self-sufficient, independent, whole-sovereign women. They were property of men. There was no choice.

They did not own their bodies or minds or souls. They belonged to men and the church. They had NO CHOICE.

I AM THE GRAND-DAUGHTER THAT DOES. I HAVE ALL CHOICES. I OWN MY MIND, BODY, and MY SOUL.

I have rebelled against every forced, coerced, manipulated & controlled choice point my Ancestresses faced and lived through.

MY LIFE IS MY OWN. I am the RAGE of Them living thru me to NOT be controlled or manipulated.

I AM THE LIVING FLAME OF THEIR LIFE-FORCE living within me. I am the Living Flame of my Ancestresses. I will choose myself. I will follow my Yes & my No because they could not.

I honor their Living Flame within me by Choosing Myself in ALL WAYS. Over and Over and Over again.

I am the culmination of talents, passions, desires, yearnings, dreams, living sparks of creation potential of ALL MY ANCESTRESSES. Their sparks live in me. And now on Imbolc I ignite into my Living Flame knowing from wenst I came.

I am the Eros of all unfulfilled desires of my Ancestresses. I am the silenced Rage of their forced voicelessness. I carry the spark of their unmet, untapped worth inherent in ALL our bodies, minds, and hearts. I am the Living Flame of their Yearning and Fury.

I AM THE LIVING FLAME OF MY ANCESTRESSES.
